On 25th July 2021, Glen Taylor was awarded Life membership of Western Ranges Zone.
Glen’s involvement with Little Athletics started as an athlete competing at Glenbrook Centre and he continued his involvement with the sport on the Committees of Glenbrook and Kurrajong Centres before serving as Zone Coordinator for the then Blue Mountains Zone between 2008 – 2012, followed by the Western Ranges Zone between 2014-2017. Most recently, Glen served as Director on the Little Athletics NSW for a period of 4 years.
During his time as Zone Coordinator, Glen was instrumental with the development of several Little Athletics Centres and the conduct of many successful Zone Multis and Championships, as well as Regional Championships. Following Glen standing down from the Little Athletics Board in 2021, he has graciously accepted the role a Region 3 coordinator where he can continue to contribute to our sport and Zone.
In recognition of his contribution to our sport and Zone, the Zone Executive was unanimous in it bestowing Life Membership of the Zone to Glen, and we value his ongoing association with our sport. Thanks Glen.
