With a modified championships program in place for 2020/21 season due to Covid-19, Katoomba Club hosted a Zone Combined event to provide Western Ranges Zone athletes with an opportunity for some inter-Centre competition. The event also provided athletes an opportunity to obtain a time or distance that may get them into the Region Qualifier meet to be held in Dubbo in the new year.

This Zone Combined event was followed up with a Scamper event hosted by Oberon Centre for younger athletes.
